This is a series of photographs depicting the struggles of understanding my cultural identity.  Growing up I always questioned where I fit in amongst my peers.  I was too American for the Japanese kids and too Japanese for the American kids.  I eventually established that I was neither Japanese nor American but rather I was Japanese American.
